Donating to a charity is not something many of us do, especially on a day to day basis. Living in the realistic world coming up with that extra money for donations is not at the top of most peoples priorities. One great way to donate without having to peel the notes out of your pocket is to Recycle the things you already have and would probably otherwise throw away. A good example of such is printer Ink Cartridges from your printer. There are lots of establishments where you can Recycle Inkjet Cartridges for free or even get a small discount on replacement Cartridges, so everyone is a winner the Environment and your pocket are the ones which spring to mind!

Companies such as Staples have programs that will donate proceeds from the Recycling of Ink Cartridges to certain charities. The best way is to search the local your local outlets and find out which establishments Recycle Ink Cartridges and what methods they have in place ie where does the proceeds go and what is there discount policy for replacement Ink Cartridges etc. When recycling the Cartridges it does not matter whether they are black and white or Colour Ink Cartridges, both go throught the same processes.

In the United Kingdom there are many organisations that will accept used Ink Cartridges and resell them to the manufacturer. The proceeds normally go to charity but please check by asking before handing over your unwanted used Cartridges. Homeless International and Action Aid Recycling are two companies currently operating in the United Kingdom. There are a number of companies in the United States , such as Freecycling.org who donate 100% of the proceeds to charity.
